Cosy Catz luxury Boarding Cattery opened in 2007, built with the health, safety and happiness of your cat in mind. The cattery is set in a peaceful garden setting approximately 2.5 miles from the centre of Norwich, close to Norwich Airport just off the Fakenham Road and Holt Road .
The staff are fully trained and have lots of experience to care for all the needs of your pet. The happiness and well-being of your cat(s) is our main priority whether young or old, moggie or pedigree, we love them all. Cosy Catz is a small personal cattery offering lots of love and cuddles for your cat, individual and family units, heated bedroom and large play area.
At Cosy Catz cattery we open 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year (closed on Bank Holidays for drop off and collection).
We ask that the cats are brought in for boarding or collection between the hours of:
Mon to Fri: 8.30 - 11:00 am or 4.00-5.30pm
Saturday: 8.30 - 11:00am or 4pm-5pm
Sunday: 8.30 - 11:00am closed pm
We welcome inspection between the hours stated. above. We think it’s a good idea for you to have a visit to see if your cat would like to stay here for their holiday.
Accommodation
Cosy Catz luxury chalets have full height sleeping accommodation, equipped with individual heaters and under bed heat pads. The chalets are well insulated and very cosy. We provide warm blankets and customers are encouraged to bring their cats favourite blanket or similar to help settling down on arrival.
The full height chalets offer a spacious and warm sleeping area, they are especially good for older cats or those with limited mobility - with no steep ramps to negotiate to get to bed.
Health
To comply with cattery boarding licensing law, we require your cat(s) to have the standard vaccination for cat flu and feline enteritis, please do not forget to bring your vaccination card with you on the day.
Please ensure your cats flea and worm treatments are up to date - should any flea or worm treatment be necessary during their stay, the cost of the medication will be charged accordingly.
Whilst we will not accept any cats with (or showing signs) infectious contagious disease, we are happy to accept cats on medication.
Your cat will be covered by Cosy Catz own insurance during his/her stay, but any pre-existing conditions will not be covered.
Meals
Meals are served twice a day, but additional attention is given to elderly cats, kittens and those with special needs. A variety of wet meats and biscuits are stocked at Cosy Catz Cattery. We try to cater for the fussiest eaters, please inform us of your cats favourite meals so we can obtain some for their stay.
However, if dietary requirements are on prescription you must provide enough of their own food for the duration of the stay as we can not obtain it on your behalf.
